ABOUT THE DESTINATIONS
In Las Lenas you will have 7 days to discover the never ending steeps that Las Lenas can dish up! This will be a mountain which you will return to many times throughout your life, because it just does not get any better! Las Lenas has it all, from chutes to bowls, big walls, tight couloirs, and some of the silkiest corn snow we have ever skied. Did we mention the monstrous dumps the resort receives? Storms roll in from the Atlantic, such as the famous “Santa Rosa”, dropping 3-4 meters before it is all said and done!!!
Endless Turns will have you yearning for more… Just off the Martes lift, there are 4,000-5,000 ft shots of pristine Andean powder. Trust us when we say it, your legs will give out before the pitch does!
Las Lenas also has an amazing apres-ski and vibrant nightlife, which is considered by many, the best of any ski resort in South America. You can dance the night away to Latin music and live djs who frequent the resort from Buenos Aires. For those of you who like placing a few bets, the Piscis Hotel has its own casino and the numerous restaurants in the village will satisfy every appetite, after a great down on the mountain.
From Las Lenas its a quick flight back to Buenos Aires, where you will connect onto another flight to Ushuaia (the End of the Earth)-otherwise known as the Land of Fire. Here you will spend 5-days exploring this amazing region, which has some of the most spectacular mountains in the Andes Range. Ushuaia is the southern most city in the world and the gateway to Antarctica.
Ushuaia is known for its snowy weather (which we love!), Antarctica Expeditions, the famous Beagle Canal (that Charles Darwin once crossed), working estancias (ranches), dog sledding, fishing industry, and some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.
In Ushuaia, the mountains rise directly out of the ocean and tower 6,000-7,000 feet (1800-2300 meters). There are incredible backcountry skiing options in the region, as well as the most southerly Andean ski resort, Cerro Castor. Did we mention all the exciting nightlife, some of the most delicious cuisine (cordero– lamb and centolla– king crab) found anywhere, Fin del Mundohistory museum, Tierra del Fuego National Park, and the incredible Martial Glacier (where the ski mountaineering options are limitless!).
The vino tinto and Brazilian Capirinha drinks keep flowing throughout the trip, so pack your bags and let ENDLESS TURNS arrange your trip to some of the most beautiful places to ski in the world. Vamos (let’s go)!!!
