    Getting There

Fly into Reno-Tahoe International Airport with a 65 minute transfer to Heavenly (58 miles/93 kms).

    Ski Season

    November – April

    Forecast

Heavenly Resort is located in South Lake Tahoe, just over 1 hour from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.  At Heavenly, you can ski in California & Nevada and enjoy an average of 300 days of sunshine a year!

High above the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly has some of the most picturesque vistas of any resort in North America.  There are 34 miles of wide-open slopes, buffed groomers, 1,600 foot descents in double-black diamond canyons, and some of the best tree skiing in North America.

    ABOUT THE RESORT

Heavenly has a great variety of terrain for all ability levels. With 97 runs, 3,500 foot vertical drop, 28 chairlifts, 4,800 skiable acres, and the highest summit elevation (10,067′) in the Lake Tahoe region, it’s no wonder why Heavenly is known as a World Class resort!

Heavenly is a big mountain with many hidden gems that are tucked away and ready to be explored. Some of the favorite local ski lines descend into Mott & Killebrew Canyons, which are located high about the Nevada desert. The snow at Heavenly is plentiful, as large snow storms roar in off the Pacific Ocean and slam into the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The combination of cold air and lofty peaks delivers excellent powder during the cold winter months, which ensures a long spring skiing season.

Did we mention South Lake Tahoe is also the perfect getaway for couples, families, and groups of friends looking to enjoy time together, both on and off the slopes. Heavenly Village offers some wonderful apres-ski, dining, and nightlife experiences, so bring some extra energy with you to maximize the days and the nights.
