Ski Season
Bienvenidos to Argentina, it is time to enjoy the wonderful activities and breathtaking views in Ushuaia! The adventure begins in Buenos Aires, staying in the heart of the Recoleta District, nestled in this European like city. You will spend the first night eating some great Argentine cuisine and exploring the great nightlife and culture, which Buenos Aires is famous for.
Your journey begins in the cultural metropolis of Buenos Aires, and then it’s off to the “Land of Fire”(Tierra del Fuego), Ushuaia.
You will board a flight to El Fin del Mundo at the tip of Argentina, the gateway to Antarctica. Ushuaia is known for its snowy weather, Antarctica Expeditions, the Beagle Canal that Charles Darwin once crossed, working estancias, dog sledding, fishing industry, Cerro Castor Ski Resort, and some of the most breathtaking mountains in the world.
In Ushuaia, the mountains rise directly out of the ocean and tower 6,000-7,000 feet (1,800-2,300 meters). There are incredible backcountry skiing options, as well as the most southerly ski resort in the Andes, Cerro Castor. Did we mention all the exciting nightlife and delicious cuisine (Cordero– lamb and Centolla– king crab) found anywhere, El Fin del Mundo Museum, the Tierra del Fuego National Park, and the picturesque Martial Glacier (ski mountaineering options here are limitless!).
Endless Turns will take you to this enchanted place, which is still truly wild and like no other place. You will have one full week to explore the mountains and take in all the great local hospitality. Join us on this epic adventure, one that will never be forgotten!
