    ABOUT THE RESORT

    BIG SKY

Big Sky Resort is called the “Biggest Skiing in America”, where crowds and traffic get left behind. Lone peak offers a wide range of terrain for all ability levels. For the expert level skiers there are an infinite number of steep chutes and faces. For the intermediate skier/snowboarder there are many options, both on the ski runs and off-piste in the bowls and glades.

Big Sky has recently upgraded its lift system and now has high-capacity lifts with heated seats and protective bubbles.

    MOUNTAIN VILLAGE

The Mountain Village is Big Sky Resort’s central base village where skiers and snowboarders meet to dine, enjoy apres-ski after a great day on the slopes, shop, and take in all the natural beauty. The village has some wonderful hotels and numerous condo options to suit all budget levels. You can also access the expansive terrain from a handful of chairlifts that surround the village.

    MADISON BASE

Located just a short distance from the heart of the mountain village, the Madison area is a small family-oriented base area at the resort. This additional base area is connected via the Six Shooter Lift and is next to the Moonlight Mercantile and Headwaters Grille.
