Alta Ski Resort offers 2,614 skiable acres, 119 designated runs, 10 lifts, 547″ of annual snowfall (748″ was the record, in 1981-82 season), and many off-piste areas to explore. There is also plenty of terrain for all ability levels, so whether you are planning on learning how to ski, fine-tuning techniques, or an avid powder hound, Alta is the place to ski!

Alta is the oldest resort in Utah operating, since 1938. Oldtimer “Altaholics” love the unpretentious vibe, where people focus on skiing and sharing their stories in one of the traditional lodge pubs over a frosty brew.
